Define the yard path properties

You can use the Add Yard Path form to define and edit selected properties of the yard path.

Before you begin:

Understand that because N4 automatically calculates the distance between vertices, you cannot define or edit the Distance (m) property.

To define the yard path properties:

1. Edit the values displayed in the From Vertex Id and To Vertex Id fields.

For new vertices, N4 assigns these values automatically. If you draw a path between two existing vertices, you cannot edit these fields.

2. To allow bi-directional traffic for the yard path, select the Two-way Path check box.

If Two-way Path is not selected, traffic flows from low to high, where low is where you began to draw the path and high is where you ended the path.

3. Click Save.
